Protocols for Entry

Maximum capacity inside the gallery is 10 

Maximum capacity outdoors is 25

Visitors to campus must show state-approved proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or provide proof of negative COVID-19 test result.

The University requires that all students, employees, and visitors be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or regularly obtain and maintain a current negative COVID-19 test result: a. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test with negative test results valid for seven (7) calendar days; or, b. Rapid Antigen Test with negative test results valid for three (3) calendar days.

Valid proof of vaccination includes:

  • LumiSight UH health check-in app with uploaded vaccination card confirming full vaccination status (Individuals are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 if it has been two weeks after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series (e.g., Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or two weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson/Janssen).) or valid COVID negative test result
  • OR A hard copy of a filled out LumiSight UH health screening form 
    • AND hard copy of a vaccination card;
    • OR a photograph/digital copy of a vaccination card;

Documents will be checked against valid identification which confirms that the person requesting entrance is the same person reflected on the proof of vaccination or negative test (name and birth date must match).

Examples of valid identification include (but are not limited to):

  • Driver’s license
  • Non-driver government ID card
  • Passport
  • UH, school, or work ID card

Visitors must fill out a contact tracing sign-in sheet before entry to Gallery ‘Iolani.

Visitors must wear face masks covering the nose and mouth at all times, and practice social distancing of six (6) feet.

If a visitor cannot provide proof of vaccination or a negative test, they will be denied entry into the gallery.
